My Review

I have to say, this may be my favorite book review ever!

What a great tool for parents, My daughter is all about games and rewards. She also hates to lose. So the methods and games in this book for teaching her manners and life skills is perfect for my family.

Topics that are covered:
*Social Skill Basics
*Mealtime Manners
*Art of Conversation
*Restaurant Behavior
*Technology Talk

There is a contract that you sign with your child to agree to terms that state what you will accomplish and what the reward will be. In each section, there are exercises to practice the skills, as well as games, like word searches and crossword puzzles. There are also tickets that can be given for the child being successful at topics covered. These tickets can be cashed in for prizes outlined in the original contract.

My daughter Isabella, hated when she didn't get a ticket and was constantly asking me about getting them. This gave me many opportunities to teach and practice the lessons in the topic we were currently working on.  I plan on keeping up with the tools in this book as well as using the ticket system for other tasks and behaviors in the future. I highly recommend this book for any parent.
